I had the same problem on my 98. Just do a full diagnostic test on it. When I did it , it told me I had a battery/alternator fault. So I changed both and it stopped. Good luck on that buddy.

I installed a one piece and I'm really satisfied with it. I did go to the extreme and cut out some of the steel to get to my adjustment screws but other than that I'm loving it

I'm not a fan of the rear sliding window. I would replace it for a solid. Install a 2 way viper alarm with a GPS tracker. Especially after some coward left this note on my truck a few months back.

I call mine "Benji" because every time something goes wrong or I want to add any upgrades I have to spend a Benjamin Franklin or more. It's usually more lol
