    I thought maybe but it has the correct glass that seals around the rounded shape of the 4th gen tailgate. I think the shapes of the back of the quad vs crew cab are different.

    VVT Solenoid Metal Flakes

    Doing a cam/lifter swap and was told to pull the VVT to see if it’s “clogged” with metal shavings. This obviously isn’t clogged, maybe 10-15 very small pieces. Is this enough to be concerned? https://imgur.com/a/vwRSjrs

    Update after getting the heads off. Here is cylinder 3 lifter for anyone curious. I havent got the cam out but I'm sure its toast too. Ordered MMX no tune cam, "hellcat" lifters, tuner, and all the supporting gaskets and will get it back on the road.

    Thanks for this, I had no idea. I plan on repairing the truck and having it for awhile. Just have to decide on what parts to use. Since it’s apart I’d like to upgrade/get some more hps out of it if I can.

    Longevity for the 5.7L

    I have a 2014 Ram 1500 4x4 5.7L and I just hit 140,000 miles and would like to keep the truck another 5-7 years (another ~150,000 miles) is that possible? What are some preventative items I can start working through? I just did the water pump, thermostat, and flush. Appreciate the conversation
