Im not so sure on which tuner is best for 03. 04-08 I would definitely choose SC because of the trans tuning and torque management options. 03 will offer 91 performance, 87 octane, tow tune and mileage tune, Increased rev limiter, WOT 1-2 rpm adjust and 2-3 adjust. You plug the tuner in, tune the truck in 5-10 minutes, unplug tuner, repeat process for each time you want to change tunes. You need to plug it in to check and clear codes then unplug or as you say disconnect. I think 03 has limited trans tuning options so look into that before buying one.- Ramunit
