I feel like I'm at the max for a 1500 Laramie ( which will be pretty comparable ). Our trailer weighs around 6500# fully loaded and ready to roll but no water in the tanks. You should be able to use the radio controls to atleast move all the audio to the front and one side or the other. This would allow you to listen to each side ( along with the center ) to see if it's coming from one side or the other or both. Could also be something as simple as a pc of...- regal81455

Graphics color advice wanted.
My advice. A color in any shade and/or finish of gray or silver always looks good against blue. If I was you I'd go to your local auto paint supplier and get color chips and hold them up against your truck where you intend to place the graphic while out in the sun. IMHO one of three things... 1. You've got a loose connection either at the speaker lead or at the speakers themselves. 2. They were blown b4 you got them or blew after install. 3. They're being overdriven ( ie you're turning the volume up too far for them based on the power they are...- regal81455

Sorry I didn't see this earlier - I don't get on here nearly as often as I used too. I don't for sure recall the orientation of the cord after it was locked but I believe one side was like at say 2 and the other was 180* from it so maybe 8? Have you settled on something yet?- regal81455

Actually with these there is no need. The base is fixed and keyed just like the halogen, it only goes in the right way, that I could tell. I could take a picture of the spread against my garage door later if it helps?- regal81455
