For those who may want to update their 8.4 map. Just checked the Uconnect site for the VP4 update and current price for the 2020 NA version is $99 with free shipping until 7/2/21.
Just wanted to confirm that I can update my 8.4 using a downloaded zip file(Ver 18.45.01) from a different VIN or from the shared zip file on mediafire referenced on this forum. There was a note on the uconnect site not to use the firmware with any other VINs.

In search of schematic for the subject part. As I understand the pinouts have changed compared to the 2017 mirror connector. Has anyone installed tow mirrors without power fold from a 2017 1500 to a 2019 2500?

The process involving the modification works and relatively inexpensive. My case was unusual and work intensive due to the HVAC module failure. Thanks again to STecoD, Ricks Ram, and jimmy07 for their support in this venture.
Monday ordered the HVAC module and it arrived today. It took all of 15 minutes to R/R the module and test the system.
These are the results:
Dual mode working normally. Ran control functions and temperature settings and now system cools and heats as expected. Success!
