If the gas cap is not the culprit (it never was the source of the evap leak on my 2001), get your system smoke tested. The Meineke in Greensboro did mine and found the leak in the hoses between the evap canisters that the dealership from almost day one of it being brand new couldn't/wouldn't find.
Unfortunately, I think you will at least have to rotate it down to get to the ductwork. I took mine to the dealer to have it repaired so I can't say for certain. I think that was after I had replaced the upper dash pad by myself, and I wasn't about to do that again or replace the heater core...
Just a guess on my part, but I'd say it's either the actuator or the blend door or both. I had both replaced in my 2001 because the part of the door that the actuator connected to had broken off.
Hmmm, a 2019 8.4 delaminating. I thought that was only a 2018 radio problem. I wonder if they had an overage of 2018 radios and put them in the 2019 trucks.
Good to know. But can you now tilt your head back to drink a bottle of water? That was the biggest reason I moved my rear headrest to the driver's seat. Plus, the back of the brim of my cowboy hats was hitting the top of it. That wasn't as much of a problem because I hardly wear my hat in...
Check the pinion gear on the rear diff. I had the same whine when coasting on my 2001 1500, but I didn't know if it was the rear end or a rear wheel bearing. Then, one day I came to a stop at a red light and a blue cloud of smoke passed the cab. Luckily, I could see the Aamco that did my...
I was going to say LMC Truck, but Stavinski beat me to it. I ordered a grille for my 2001 1500, and they instead sent me a chrome rear step bumper for a mid-70s Chevy truck so they must be good with bumpers, too.
A sticker's not a good idea. The transmission release can be used to steal a vehicle if the thief has a rollback and a winch. A good thief already knows it's there, but they may be making their own key fob instead. No sense telling the bad ones about it with a sticker.
One company sells a...
It may be white road paint. I got yellow road paint all over the side of my 2001 1500 while driving through a construction zone on I-25. No road painting sign anywhere. I was able to remove most of it at a high pressure car wash, but it took a lot of quarters.
That's one of the many things that have irked me with these radios. Not a bit of info in the truck owner's manual or the UConnect manual about flash drive or filetype requirements or how to make the playlists and cover art to work.
32 GB flash drives have worked for me, too. Got all my CDs on...
