I believe your biggest issue will be clearance for the brake calipers up front

    Bigger tires! Yes or no?

37x12.5 on OEM wheels. Completely tucked and no rub with 1.5” Thuren

    Thuren 1.5 front springs

No, if you were to use the OEM Bilsteins with the taller coils. What tire pressure are you running? I never experienced bouncing with the OEM suspension, but I didn’t run the tires at 65psi. Try drastically lowering your air pressure. I don’t recall what I had settled at with the duratrash...

    Thuren 1.5 front springs

I imagine the,”bounce,” referred to would be the limited down and up travel caused by the stock Bilsteins being too short.

    Thuren 1.5 front springs

Also to note, the 1.5 Thuren kit raised my front end a little over two inches. The Thuren springs may have settled with time but I never re-measured. Oh and my alignment has been great, didn’t even need to adjust my steering wheel. Probably the best affordable mod you can do.

    Thuren 1.5 front springs

I run the overlands up front. I think they’re great. Not bling like the fox or bypass, but they ride great.

Power Wagons ... Post em up!

I installed the Thuren Overland front yesterday and I am extremely happy with it. Truck sits dead level to my eyes, rides great, and no need for an alignment. It tracks straight down the road and I didn’t even need to adjust the steering wheel alignment. Quality parts from Thuren, fast...

For the original poster, could you please measure the distance from the swings pivot point to the far side of your spare tire, and what size is your spare?

my other truck, hence a reason why I can permanently have a shell on the wagon. I fabricated and welded a mount atop the flatbed headache rack for the 35x12.5” spare. Those are 37x13.5’s mounted. Is it cool looking, “Hell yes.” Practical, “No.” I also posted this photo with boat attached...

1st Impressions: Rigd Ultraswing Mega-fit Spare tire Carrier

I’d like to see it with a trailer attached.... something like a boat or enclosed trailer. How well would it clear? With a say 21’ boat attached, could you swing it open to open your tailgate? I’m thinking not, but maybe my thinking is wrong. Or,I suppose you could crank the wheel, parking at...
