Ride height with AlfaOBD (air suspension)
The make up air routine will run as soon as you start the truck. It's a pretty clear low pitched whistling sound. Don't block the air intake, you're more likely to ruin the compressor and that's a more expensive fix than pulling vacuum and refilling.- Roman217

Diagnosing Air Suspension Leaks - Suggestions?
You're more likely to ruin something plugging it than preserving anything. It should never pull from the atmosphere and it does have a drying process to limit moisture. If you ever hear a low pitch whistle it's going through the refill procedure and that should be the point to check for leaks.- Roman217

Probably not the best idea. Do a proper leak check. I have learned this lesson the hard way and spent money replacing parts that didn't need to be replaced. It can be added to trucks going back as far as 2014 (potentially even 2013). 2500/3500 are just a few setting changes to enable the BSM after installing the 5th gen HD tail lights and connecting the BSMs to power and CAN bus. 1500s require a conversion module to make the blind spot modules work...- Roman217

I had the same issue when I did the swap originally and ended up having to swap the BCM. My 2015 BCM would allow me to set the DCSD setting but wouldn't actually broadcast it on the network. It's possible that early build 2016s have the same issue.- Roman217
