    So Long Ram

But your post doesn’t make sense. He recently has a Ram and that’s why he was here. He didn’t but a Ford to come here. He was already here….. Plus it’s the general discussion forum. I don’t see the problem. it’s not like he’s going into the Lifted section talking about lifting his Ford….or...

    So Long Ram

Come on man. I bought a Ford after years owning a Ram. I still love this place because the people who post here are great and we at least have common interest in trucks. Content should stay Ram for the most part but that doesn’t mean us traitors can’t stick around.

    Girl needed new shoes!

Gotta admit it is a good color. My Ram was delmonico red and loved that color in the bright/direct sun.

Lifted 4th Gen Pics - Show Em Off!

Looks great now you just gotta get the front lower air dam back on and it’ll be complete. Does the front sir higher than rear or just the driveway angle?

What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?

I thought white letters weren’t a thing anymore until I bought my new truck and found out they still exist lol. Have to admit I have no urge to change it either. They’ve grown on me.

    Just lifted my Lonestar Ram

My oem big horn wheels on my old truck would rub with 35x11.5s. Had to run 1.25” spacer to make them clear the knuckles in the front. Rear would’ve been fine but fronts rubbed. I think the real deciding factor is lift brand hence it comes down to what knuckles you have. So I can confirm the...

Lifted 4th Gen Pics - Show Em Off!

6.2 Wanted something tried and true and have seen nothing but good stuff about the 6.2 being bulletproof with proper maintenance. Will tow 10k lbs with ease. Was going to try the 7.3 but I don’t generally like to try new engines out. It’s definitely the more flashy engine but with no real...

Lifted 4th Gen Pics - Show Em Off!

Bittersweet day today was the last with my beloved 4th Gen 1500. I feel like the time flew and I’ll always appreciate the timeless sharp curves of these trucks. I’m definitely going to stay around watching what you guys do to yours going forward and live vicariously. Heres the replacement...

Lifted 4th Gen Pics - Show Em Off!

Last few pics I’ll take....getting traded in either tomorrow or Tuesday. Was the 1st truck I bought after business became successful and was able to get a nice truck (aka more than the single cab 2wd work trucks I was used to). Next truck won’t be welcome here (but I’ll probably always check...

    5000lb trailer/550lb tongue weight

Im in Calvert county. The work’s spread out in DC/MD/VA. but the guy driving it comes from almost 80miles down in Virginia. So we will be looking to locate the trailer no more than 20miles out from most of the jobs in an effort to limit percentage of time towing.

    5000lb trailer/550lb tongue weight

Well it looks like we decided on the following setup. Due to the trailers empty weight being 3500lbs (and I mentioned 5000lbs as a guess to how much it is with all tools/equip). 2019 big horn 1500 classic w/5.7 engine going to keep trailer remotely at a storage yard to limit total miles...

    5000lb trailer/550lb tongue weight

Truck door sticker lists payload as ~2050lbs if we go f150 it’s either going to be a Ram 1500 5.7 or an f150 with the eco boost.....would get an extended powertrain since I know we’ll be using it if we go with a lightly used truck Another option might be to store trailer closer to the region...

    5000lb trailer/550lb tongue weight

Will a half ton tow this trailer with 5000lb total weight/550lb tongue weight on a daily basis without getting ragged out? this is a work setup that will be driven about 100miles per day Monday thru Friday. So we’re talking roughly 25,000miles per year towing. I’m hoping it’s not asking too...

    Tyger Vs Mopar Rivet flares

it’s not too hard. I had flares with PPF under them. 1) You just “dry mount” the flares 2) use painters tape and put it on the body right up to the flare 3) remove flares 4) put PPF up right to the painters tape 5) rip off the painters tape & permanently install flares did mine that way...
