    Unhappy with 1500 towing. Need Help

    Enjoyable thread. I have a 7800 lb tow behind, Blue Ox Sway Pro. Prev pulled with a 2010 Tundra 5.7L 4x4, 4:10 gear ratio. Small gas tank, got about 9 mpg while towing. On the level pulled better than my current 2019 2500 Ram 2500 4x4 diesel. But going up and down hills nothing beats the diesel.

    Thank you Lee. I think the Ram 3500 has leaf springs, so these coil springs may be the heaviest available. Dealer said I would void the warranty if I put on non OEM heavier coil springs.

    Transmission Fluid Change - Forget Dropping the pan - get this!

    I just Googled the cost of a transmission change on my 2019 Ram 2500 4x4. About $200. The exact amount may differ at the dealership I go to however. I just paid almost $500 just for a fuel filter change at this dealer. $200 does not seem out of line with the other maintenance costs.
