    I changed strut to Bilsteins. I didn’t find anything wrong with cv. I think one rattle was from strut studs poking through the top hat spacers rattling on strut pockets in engine compartment.

    Yes, 5th gen. I took the struts out and cut original 3 top studs down. All good now. Before they stuck up above the aluminum lift spacer on top of strut.

    I tore mine apart today, took the strut out and cut the original studs down. I should have taken a couple pictures but I *think* the rattle is gone.

    Has anyone had the original top strut studs through top spacer that were too long and rattling on the top strut cup or shock tower?

    I’ve been chasing a rattle from the front end of my 2020 1500 with 3.5 ready lift. I changed sway bar links. Torqued struts etc. Today I looked at front half shaft/cv’s. I do understand they should have a little horizontal play in and out of front diff but how much play from up and down or...

    I just got back from a 1000 mile trip. The new tank and filler did the same as the old one. Click off at the pump at 3/4-7/8. I need to look into the 33 gallon.

    I picked up my truck today after the dealership replaced the 23 gallon tank. They filled it with gas and it was full when I picked it up. We’ll see how it goes.

    I think you’re on to something here but I made it clear I understand that I would need several new parts including a fuel pump to make it work. I’ll try a different dealership.

    Why are they telling me that they can’t upfit to a 33 gallon? I’m willing to pay for the whole upgrade.

    This is why the dealer cannot install a bigger tank.

    I have the truck off completely. I get done filling and start the truck and get on the road and it never goes higher than 3/4-7/8. Several different stations.
