    New Goat on the Farm

Been looking for a few weeks now. Finally settled on this one AND kept the 2012.:D:D Put about 700 miles on it this week and getting six mpg more than the 5.7. Good stuff!

That sounds pretty good. Maybe the glass pack rap sound I have is a result of long tubes and/or lack of cats. I gotta figure it out though. It sounds like I need a rebel flag flying from my tailgate.

Man, I'd love to see a pic of that install. Was trying to figure out how to run true duals, but the fuel tank seems to be the hindrance.

Should have been more specific. JBA longtubes, NO cats, Borla muffler and no resonators.

    Time for some new heads

Compression check was good. Replaced the plug and all is well. Would never have thought a spark plug could make so much noise.

    Time for some new heads

Step one. Remove spark plugs. Found this one in the second hole from the front on the passenger side. With an inspection camera, I can see tiny pot marks on top of the piston. Not sure at this point whether this plug just failed or something rattling around in there broke it. Further...

Heck, if I lived out your way, I'd come help just for grins. I enjoy doing my own work, just not redoing it....again. But I ain't giving up on the beast. Pretty soon ol' Murphy's gotta go mess with someone else.
