I don't know if the wiring harness is the same on the 4.7L but I have read where people have had the wires run through and ground out on the 5.7L HEMI engines. There is a harness that runs down the front passenger side of the engine. Then it turns back and under the engine. It then runs between...
Have the starter bench tested. Even though it was replaced it's possible you got a bum starter. Also sometimes starters will work fine on a bench test but will fail in a vehicle.
What I would also recommend is check your grounds, and check the wiring harness that runs down the front of your...
Sooooooooo let's dive into this. A few months ago I encountered this on my truck but with a 5.7L HEMI instead. On my truck Dodge ran the wiring harness down the front passenger side of the engine. It passes between the oil filter and the oil pan then curves under the engine to the knock sensor...
I used a short extension. I fed the socket into the tube and held the last 1/2 inch of the socket out of the tube and snapped the short extension into the socket.

I've had this truck for about 2 months. My sister and her husband had it for a year before hand...
I adjusted the sunroof yesterday so hopefully it seals better now. I also cleared out the front left drain tube so it shouldn't be leaking water on my hand anymore while I'm driving.
I'm a day late on this but I fixed the Tach by reflowing the solder on those two chips, shimmed the circuit board, and figured out why the HVAC system is acting up.
Just a heads up here comes a small book.
I pulled the controls out and messed with them. Everything worked flawlessly. So I took...
I got the girl registered and the title switched over. Then got in the truck and proceeded to flick the climate controls until the AC kicked on. I know it's a lose connection somewhere because the lights by the 2 knobs don't seem to work until I give it a good flick.
Will probably year it apart...
I just did a quick search to confirm what i suspected. White smoke could mean coolant (unlikely in your case), or injector related issues. (Probably this one.) But I'm no diesel mechanic.
Well, I haven't done it yet but it will be soon. Probably today after work. I'll be putting the old girl up for sale. I've been looking for something newer lately and I was offered to take over payments on my sister's 06 Mega Cab with 127k miles on it. That was finalized today and it'll be in my...
