    That is the reason I removed the part on my 18 in 2019. There was a mountain of tree litter down there just rotting away. The 3 pieces on the front of the box are just fairings for aerodynamics and are not supposed to touch the cab.

    I just replaced my electric brakes with new brake plates and within a mile got error message-'check trailer brake wiring' Then 'trailer brakes disconnected'. All worked well with the old setup.     Weight distribution vs air bags

    The lift height matters less than the ball height. The more lift you have the more of a dropped ball is needed. As long as the trailer is not running nose high the WDH system will work.
