    if your only going to drive it for 5000 miles a year, I don think it would be worth it to get one. It will take 20 years for you to get 100k miles on your truck. The warranty probably has a 7 year/100k mileage limit, so in 7 years you will only have 35k miles on your truck.

    so true. I put a mark on my oil filter once before i took to dealer for oil change. I looked when I picked it up and didnt see the mark. When i got home i looked again and the mark was there just the filter had been turned.....they all ripoffs.

    Being a loyal customer means nothing today. I bought 5 vehicles from one dealer over 20 years, spending almost 200k total. The last time I went to buy a car from them they let me walk over 2k. They wouldn't come down by 2k to the price i wanted to pay..so they let me walk. Same with car...

    I personally know someone who dogged their 2012 ram with 5.7 for 200k miles so far. He went 30k miles on the same oil one time. They have had no problems with it. Still has it and is still ******* it.
