Best Tires for Ram 1500?
I put these on our RAM 1500. We love them. Great in rain and way better while pulling our TT. They ride a little stiffer than the OEM Goodyears but for the substantial increase in performance it’s worth it. https://continentaltire.com/tires/terraincontact-ht -

Exterior kind of boring
I am old school….. I like lots of chrome and our 2018 Laramie brings that in spades. When I was growing up, the high end vehicles had lots of chrome and the base cheap models did not. I really need to get a newer picture of it. -

Sold the '16 RAM 1500
This was my last “company car”. It allowed us to sell my 2011 300C and get by with one family vehicle which was a 2014 RAM Laramie 1500.- Smokey613

Our payload is limited due our options, hence the reason we chose a relatively light TT with a GVWR of 6500 lbs.- Smokey613

8.4 Uconnect touch screen delaminating....
I received a call from my dealer today to schedule a time next Tuesday morning to bring our truck in to replace the uConnect unit. I will post an update when I can. -
RamBox worth getting?
Not to mention, way easier to wash out the bed of our Rambox bed than our prvious 2014 with regular bed where dirt and other debris kept getting trapped around the wheel wells. The non Rambox guys just have “Rambox envy”. :gr_grin:- Smokey613

RamBox worth getting?
I really did not want the Rambox when we got our 2018 used, but after having them for two years I will never be without them again. They are way too handy and we use them to the max. The bed divider is also very handy. It’s nice to be able to put stuff in the bed and not worry about it sliding...- Smokey613

Very nice! Congratulations! I am hoping once the pricing settles down, in a couple of years, we can get a similar 2500. I am just not willing to pay what they are asking for trucks at this time.- Smokey613

I received a call from uConnect today and they advised they were covering the replacement cost of a new unit 100%. They advised they would let me know when the unit arrives at the dealer so we could make arrangements to take our truck in to have it replaced. I am keeping my fingers crossed the... -
Synthetic Oil
It was an auto and it did have a weird shifting quirkiness but once I loaded the base Bully Dog tune on it the trans started shifting normally. The tune was still loaded when we traded it in.- Smokey613

Recently we have wished we had kept our 2004.5 2500 Cummins HO CC. We had it 10 years and it looked like new when we traded it in on a new 2014 Laramie 1500. It had 110K on it when we traded.- Smokey613
