On these years of hemi. The transmission cooler is a separate deal. It sits right in front of the ac condenser. Its 100% separated from any engine coolant. They did that to avoid cross contaminating, if that where to happen. Never understood why some vehicles have it routing into the radiator...
The tranny temp won't change with a lower thermostat. Its all independent on these trucks. The transmission oil doesn't run into the radiator, oil temp i don't think would change either.
KBB is good. banks at least here in Utah, use NADA to determine a vehicles value. The problem with vehicles as you know. They depreciate and the big tires and lifts don't add value in my opinion. That's money you're not going to get back. The rust isn't a big deal. As long as there is no...
Drain the oil
Remove the pan
Replace gasket( add RTV to corners)
Install pan again
Get bolts lightly snugged
Torque bolts in a star pattern( not sure what the Torque specs are)
Then in a row
Fill to 7 quarts.
Also not sure if you have to remove anything. It doesn't look like anything...

Oil looks burnt? What does that mean? I know oil changes color but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. Are you running 5W-20 or 5W-30? It shouldn't matter what your running. But id double check your connections on the new sensor. Or maybe the sensor itself is bad. Try another one
When you mean it fades, like it feels what? From my understanding, you don't get brakes until half way too the floor? I'm gonna guess you did this, but I'm gonna ask. Did you properly bleed the brakes after replacing the hoses, and master cylinder?
Swap out, swap in to me would be quicker and easier then a rebuild. Rebuild will/might be cheaper, just more time consuming. Pick your battle, price out your options.
