Will Fram XG2 fit in my 2013 - See Pics

Ahh, right those are the Endurance filters right? They are the same as the RP and Amsoil filters? Didn't know that, cool. Badger, what makes it such a pain to change, just the clearance and spilling oil everywhere?

Will Fram XG2 fit in my 2013 - See Pics

Ok...Ok...Ok, I know, it's been beaten to death, but I figured I'd just throw these pics up to see what everyone thinks. I have the electric power steering in my 2013, but I think the rack was changed on later models as there is still a bunch of room on top of my rack, so depth of filter isn't...

    Synthetic Motor Oil Poll 2017

Thanks Burla, didn't read everything....read just about everything and a good portion of it was posts of yours, on multiple sites. I did read about that Penzoil UOA program, that would've been cool. Well I basically came to the same conclusion that PP would work just fine for a 1yr/low mileage...

    Synthetic Motor Oil Poll 2017

Ok, I've been reading just about everything I can about synthetic oil and filters pertaining to the Hemi on this forum, other forums and bob's.....I've basically narrowed it down to using either PP or PUP 5w-20 and a Fram Titanium filter which I was able to get a hold of a few that still have...

RC N3 2" Leveling struts installation

I didn't. Only sway bar end links, tie rods and upper ball joints.

RC N3 2" Leveling struts installation

Got the RC leveling struts in.....finally, winter didn't cooperate. In any case, someone told me I should drive it for maybe 100 miles or so to let them settle in before getting an alignment. Any truth or logic to that? 100 miles isn't gonna kill my tires, just wondering if it's worth the...

    Preferred/Best drivetrain fluids

Yeah i found it online, shows I have "anti-slip" so I got the LSD fluid.

    Preferred/Best drivetrain fluids

Yeah I will probably just throw 75w-90 in it, no idea why they spec 140 for a 1500. Any quick way to tell if I have a LSD?

    Preferred/Best drivetrain fluids

My manual shows the spec for my rear diff spec for 1500 models is 75w-140 and front 4WD specs 75w-90. I was gonna put the 90 in both, do I really need the 140 if I never tow and only lightly haul stuff periodically? Manual also says only the 44-44 xfer case needs Mopar xfer case fluid. All...

Less Heat Drivers side then Passenger side on my 2013 Ram 5.7

I just went through this, same year truck, 2013 Hemi. Dealer tried everything before finally just replacing the heater core, which fixed it. It's pretty common and changing the heater core is the fix. Not an easy job, luckily I wasn't paying for it.

    Preferred/Best drivetrain fluids

Thanks for the responses. I guess I should've clarified some things earlier. Yes I have the 6spd trans, so need ATF+4 for an RFE. Not entirely sure which xfer case I have. My truck is an Express, doesn't have Auto 4WD....only 2WD, 4Hi and 4Lo. I just assumed it used the same ATF+4 as the...

    Preferred/Best drivetrain fluids

I have a new to me 2013 1500, has about 77K on it and I want to do all of the drivetrain fluids, even though they say they are good to 100K. Wanted to see what people have found works best in the diffs, xfer case and trans.. I know the Trans will need ATF+4....is there any particular brand of...

2013 with HOAT coolant in it?

Build date is 5/13, so kind of far into the 2013 build cycle, which is why I am even more confused and don't trust what anyone says just based on color.

    cost of service

I asked the dealership what it would cost to do both diffs, xfer case and tranny fluid and filters.....they told me $1200.
