I did start with a smooth lid, but I would imagine if you put 2 or 3 coats of filler primer and sanded with a 400 grit you could get close to smooth lid.
Performance wise I think I'm done, but I've got a couple more cosmetic things in mind on top of what I've already done.
Changed out the stock grill for a gloss black one, and painted the intake to match and added a Hemi sticker for that old skool look. And I found a Challenger at a nearby...
It's growing on me. Found it last November in a small town about an hour away. 1 owner, low miles and stock. I just needed to have it because of how ridiculous a full size neon green truck looks. :D
I'm with you on that. I'm not a big fan of the color, I don't hate it either, but it's so stupid and obnoxious it makes me like it. The wife likes it too, so that's a plus.
I've had people ask me if it's wrapped. People also look at it bewildered like it's not a Dodge/Plymouth color and it's not real.
But to the point, I love the 4th gen ram, I've had 2 of them. Really like how sporty it looks no matter the trim or door count.
I'm gonna echo the re-bleed the system and check the fan comment. I just did a 180 tstat over the weekend and mine gets to 202-204 at most and averages 192-194 no tuning done yet.
But I'm also in Kansas and this week it's decided it's going to be winter and in the 30s.
Code comes up as loss of power to the PCM or a faulty battery. I would just check the PCM connections and the actual pins on the PCM itself just to be sure none of them are burnt or damaged. Diablo just sends whatever they have on the shelf with your VIN flashed on it.
Or after you flash it...
Ya I'm sure. I know what the Iron-X is too, good stuff. I ceramic coat my vehicles as well. I'm not using Reset for every wash. I guess I was getting at a dish soap alternative, just a good soap in general that strips waxes and sealants when it's time time to reapply.
It looks like it's already lowered in that picture, maybe it's just the angle.
As far as companies go, Belltech and IHS suspension are a couple that make kits.
Just Google "2016 ram 1500 lowering kits" and several options will pop up.
Here I am with this garbage tank of the year! Abrams junk!!!
See how this makes no sense?
But seriously, no one knows what you're talking about or the the point you're trying to make. You just posted a pic and refused to elaborate.
