That Dam Hemi Tick!
Had hemi tick on 2015 1500. Started at about 75k miles. Change the exhaust bolts as two were broken, fixed the problem, 6 months later tick came back, one bolt broken this time, suspected warped exhaust manifold.. replaced the passenger side manifold and never had a problem again. 115k mile...- swapwap

I can take the heat...Give it to me straight
Had that on my 15, hated it. Replaced all the head bolts and fixed it for about 3 month. Guess I should have replaced exhaust manifold too, but traded it instead. Can’t stand driving a vehicle with a tick…- swapwap

Cummins regen system
That thing your government mandates on a diesel to “burn off” what your truck would normally burn out of its exhaust. For some reason people believe if you heat it up to a higher temperature it’s safer to the environment then it coming out of your exhaust at a lower tempers. Studious isn’t it….- swapwap

When are you folks changing your fluids?
Had a 15 1500, got dealer recommendation and changed trans at 100k, you can only use dealer fluid and it damn well cost nearly as much as them doing the job. don’t really see a need before then especially if you not pulling anything.- swapwap

Regeneration issues?
Yeah. I hate it. I’ve got 36k miles. And the exhaust “filter” is full. I don’t do a lot of hwy driving over 90 minutes consistently so I never get a full burn and I get this issue. They make limited longhorn edition. I have one 15, 1500. Limited is leather and the longhorn sticking and saddlebag backs. Missing the same two items your was, kinda stupid but no folding mirrors was very strange to me.- swapwap

Yowza!! $1700 brakes?
Purchased and replaced rotors and brakes on Amazon for my 1500, the rotors we much thicker too, cost my less than $500 for all and out them only myself. Didn’t need to bleed anything, had 100k miles on them. I’m shocked fallers are so quick on them in some vehicles. That’s crazy- swapwap

Ride quality of a 3500
Oem tires suck. Had oem self leveling air bags on previous truck, they are awesome for ride quality. I miss them. Get the 3500 with auto leveling oem bags and you’ll be perfect form you needs in weight and comfort- swapwap

Adding 5th wheel kit; is it possible?
Get an Andersen hitch, it’s very light and will help. Don’t get so hung up on payload, you can still get a rather large 5th wheel- swapwap

Cannot decide on ordering a new 2500
Laramie doesn’t have much leather in it. Dash, seats, door trim all manufactured , if you want leather get a limited, about 4k more. It will have leather and a pretty grill and projection lights :)- swapwap
