Yep, a few threads on this issue. These filters can back off, has happened to me a couple times, including now, as I've started "spotting" the driveway again. Oil Leak
My 2016 1500 has also done this, off and on, for 4 years. All oil changes done by dealer. Mopar filters, screwed in tight. They can't figure why. Said the housing is OK. Last oil change 6 months ago (But only 3000 miles) and has been dry until a couple days ago, now it's spotting the driveway...- swexlin

? Tire mileage
I Replaced my original Goodyears (terrible) in March 2019, with 37K on them. Bought the Michelin LTX, and was a large improvement. However, they (supposedly) were a 70,000 mile tire. Since working from home, I went from stop an go commuting, and 12K a year the truck, to 6K a year. I now have...- swexlin

Radiator Hose for V10
Can't help you on the hose, but I'm sure you know you have a VERY rare truck. Very few 03s made with the V10. (I had a97 2500 V10). I've only ever seen one 03 V10 in real life, at Carlisle many years ago. The owner knew what he had, and wasn't selling! Good luck with the hose.- swexlin

Stays in the port. Got mine yesterday. Don't notice any difference, I guess that's the idea. It's functioning as intended, per the LEDs on the unit. So yes, when you need a code reader, you'll have to unplug it.- swexlin

Oil Leak...from where?
I've had my stock filter leak a couple times...drip on the driveway. Dealer oil changes. They tell me it's an ocassional issue if it's not cranked down TIGHT! But you mention you have a relo kit. You're sure the lines or a fitting aren't seeping? Might be worth it to put some dye in the oil, and...- swexlin

I went with these last March as well. 1200 bucks. They are so superior to those terrible SRAs in all weather conditions. Like you, I don't tow or haul. With about 12,000 miles on them now, they're wearing much better than the Goodyears, but I highly doubt I'll get 70 out of them. Got only about... -
