    I have the same issue, A New battery didn't help. There is no pattern of when it happens. It can sit for days and crank and can long start after a quick stop at the store. Never a code either.

    Yesterday got in the truck after sitting all night, turn the key fired right up drove 10 minutes down the road to the store. When I went to get it started again it cranked over for a good 3 seconds before it fired up. Drove back home parked it for about another 2 hours, went to start it up again...

    I'm looking for an updated file for my radio. I have Software version 15.50.01 However, this radio is not from my truck so using the VIN check its a NoGo (Mine came with a 5") Just trying to get Android Auto enabled. If thats a no go no matter what, Ill just swap out to a Kenwood. Thanks

    I bought the lifetime bumper to bumper. I do not plan on trading this truck in (my last one was a '89) and being in GA the sheet metal will last longer than when I was in Buffalo. It's piece of mind for me.

    It powers up and goes to the "power on the radio for the code" The truck is running, it never gets to the screen for entering in the security code.

    I have a old 2016 8.4 U connect radio from my last Ram. It fits and connects to my 2018 but doesn't work. Is there any software updates or patch cables to do this or is that old radio just a WTS item now? Thanks

    I ended up going with the Kenwood head unit and used the Kenwood mic. I routed it up to the center console and just clipped it onto that housing. Works very well, at 80mph there is no road noise when on the phone. I just need to see how it is when there is a down pour and rain is hammering...
