    Metallic buzzing noise

I’m honestly just learning to deal with it at this point and just try to tune it out whenever it happens. I also have a very subtle rubbing sound coming from the steering wheel whenever I turn it at very low speeds. Had the entire steering column disassembled top to bottom and even had a new...

    Metallic buzzing noise

Not yet no. Part of me thinks the noise might be coming from the vibration of the bolts from my running boards. However, someone pointed out the air dam so I might look into that. To be honest though, the noise sounds like it’s coming from inside the truck.

Recommended tire pressure for Falken Wilpeak AT3Ws

PSI on the door jam for my truck is 39 psi. When I had my KO2s on, I constantly ran them at 48-50 psi because that is what BF Goodrich says you need to have them at in order to have the same load capacity as the OEM p-rated tires did at 39 psi. However, for regular daily driving, you can get...

Recommended tire pressure for Falken Wilpeak AT3Ws

Thanks, I’ll definitely try it at that psi to see how the ride is.

Recommended tire pressure for Falken Wilpeak AT3Ws

Just heard back from Falken. They say to inflate to 55 psi to get the same load capacity as the factory tires at 39 psi.

Recommended tire pressure for Falken Wilpeak AT3Ws

Load range/rating is 119s so a D load index. Stock OEM P rated tire is supposed to be run at 39 psi cold (I suppose for normal daily driving) and in order for the Wildpeaks to have the same load capacity as the oem tires did at 39 psi, they need to be run at 48-50 psi according to a tire...

Recommended tire pressure for Falken Wilpeak AT3Ws

lol ok. Well, I contacted Falken just to be sure and so I'm waiting to see what they say. I also did a tire pressure conversion chart on tirepressure.com and it said that for a tire of that size with that load index and load rating, a psi of around 50 is recommended in order to have the same...

Recommended tire pressure for Falken Wilpeak AT3Ws

Oh wow. I guess the huge difference in pressure is due to frequent towing?

Recommended tire pressure for Falken Wilpeak AT3Ws

What's the recommended psi to run with for a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. I just bought some for my 2018 Ram 1500 and the tires have a load range of 119s, so a D1 load index. My previous tires were KO2s with the same load range and load index and I always ran them between 48-50 psi with zero...

Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Falken Wildpeak AT3/W

Yeah so the price for a set of the Falken Wildpeaks for my truck would be about $44 cheaper on Tire Buyer than at Discount Tire. It doesn't sound like much but saving money is saving money the way I see it. I just don't know if they would be able to order the tires from them because they aren't...

Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Falken Wildpeak AT3/W

Good to know and one thing I should state is that the only reason why I even went with the KO2s was because that's just what was recommended to me by the sales rep at Discount Tire and they had them in stock. I actually was originally wanting to get the Falken Wildpeaks but they didn't have them...

Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Falken Wildpeak AT3/W

How recent? I just double checked mine and 3 of them say 1919, which means that they were made on the 19th week of 2019, so around the first week of May. The 4th one, which is the front driver's side tire is 1719, or the 2 or 3rd week of April 2019, however I had to crawl under the truck to find...

Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Falken Wildpeak AT3/W

Thanks everyone for your replies. Looks like the Falkens are the ones that I'll be going for then. @G-Ride990 I agree on the 80,000 miles BS. The only way I see that happening is if people are running them until they are well passed the wear bars and are practically bald at that point. But...

Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Falken Wildpeak AT3/W

Thanks for your reply. Yeah again, the KO2s are fantastic tires. They're incredibly durable and maybe given the fact that I've rotated them roughly every 6000-7000 miles, have lasted me around 65k miles, which is 15k miles passed the tread life warranty so not too bad. They're also very smooth...

Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Falken Wildpeak AT3/W

Looking to get new tires for my truck (2018 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4). I currently have BFGoodrich KO2s and although they're great tires, they never had very good traction on wet surfaces. I'm trying to decide between the ridge grapplers and the falken wildpeaks. Overall, here is what I'm curious...
