So I finally got around to installing new struts, I just went with the monroe reflexes and man what a difference. Could be, I have seen nothing but horrible reviews and talk about the Goodyear hp's. I'm just not the type of person to throw parts at a vehicle to try and fix it, not knowing for sure and unfortunately in this case I may have to. Well its more apparent that I need new shocks and as funny as it may sound the truck is still bouncy back there but it is only 1 or 2 stiff bounces as opposed to 4 or 5 jiggly jello feeling bounces lol. 40 psi was way to much when I put them in, so I dropped them down to 20 and that may still be...- Thegen58

Air bags
So I read about rear air bags or a rear sway bar the other day and how they settle down the rear end a little. Well I had some Firestone bags sitting around and decided wth. Broke out the welder and drill press and went to town on making some mounting brackets. [/URL][/IMG]- Thegen58

Try and "shake down" the front end, grab the tire at top and bottom and wiggle it then at 3 and 9. Any movement should indicate a problem with ball joints, tie rod ends, or wheel bearing. I also like to have a friend wiggle the steering wheel back and forth to check for movement in the joints...- Thegen58

I had the tires road force balanced today and seemed to help a bit (could be placebo effect lol). Guy at the tire shop mentioned sway bar links, I don't know if that would have an effect but said it did on his Ford.
