Anyone in the mountains with eTorque and a winch?

Yeah, I agree with you guys on the risk of eTorque. I put in a question to Ram customer service to see the 48v > 12v system has specs to handle a spike to 457 amps. https://warn.blob.core.windows.net/warn/0002578_vr12-s-winch_625.png The eTorque also has potential for the "overland"...

Anyone in the mountains with eTorque and a winch?

Interestingly enough, if this video is accurate, it states the 12v battery is charged by the 48v system. (2:50 -> 3:15) I wonder if this could then be used as an alternative to a larger battery to provide power to a 12v Warn Winch? In my 4runner I upgraded from my factory battery to an RV...

Anyone in the mountains with eTorque and a winch?

Hey all, I live in Denver, CO. My daily drive is usually through the city, and my weekends are highway + forest service roads in the mountains. I initially wanted to get a Gen 5 2019 Rebel without eTorque. However, I haven't spoke to anyone who actually has one and is doing city driving at...

Buying a Rebel, input from owners wanted

Hi Jeepit, This was at Christopher's Dodge Ram. I spoke to Hanlon O'Conner. I haven't actually made a deal, so I can't say with 100% certainty you'll get that amount off, but that's what was claimed when I spoke to them after a test drive.

Buying a Rebel, input from owners wanted

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I’m looking at one at my local dealership I really like. It has the tow package, no sun roof and an 8 inch display with the large fuel tank. After some more research, I think I only really have a few requirements over the base model * bed liner * large...

    2019 hidden winch

I'm also interested in this. I did a bit of googling today and found this one. https://www.vicedesign.ca/integrated-winch-systems/ram-rebel-integrated-winch-system The price seems a bit steep, on my 4Runner a plate like this was only $200. I'm curious, did you ever find a solution...

Buying a Rebel, input from owners wanted

Hi All, I’m trading in my 2014 4Runner for a 2019 Rebel. Now I have 2 kids 2 dogs, and loads of camping gear, my 4Runner just doesn’t cut it any more as the adventure mobile. I want something with more space, 33” tires, good articulation, and a locker factory. We spend a lot of weekends...
