I am new to the trailer game.

      I have a 2019 1500 4 x 2, 3.92 axle ratio. Not sure what else would help to know.

Was curious your thoughts as to what weight I could be looking at buying for a trailer and/or toy hauler. My wife would prefer a toy hauler, just because it allows a lot of empty space. Not going to be hauling any toys anytime soon.

Hi there.... I'm new to trailering.... My TT weigh 6000 pounds wet and it's 24 ft long.... My tow vehicle is 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 Hemi and gvwr is 13000... Gear ratio is 3.55..... I have a blue ox wd... My concern is tongue weigh and how I do that also we are planning to go to Halifax from Niagara Falls Canada and wondered is it safe/doable to do that or should I increase my ratio to 3.92 or 4.10?

The answer to what can my 1/2 ton tow; Generically whatever TT has GVWR less than TV max tow. Specifically is found on CAT scale via weight distribution with TV TT & WDH. Best motor & gearing all 5 Mfgs within specs IE safe & stable normally to about 8k. RAM 1500 ED max tow 9,200, max axle ratings 3,900, max Ram CVWR 15,950, axle weights me & gear 3,240 steer 2,560 drive
