    the truck has the factory brake controller. The trailer does not have brakes however electric brakes usually are not on boat trailers as the axel goes under water.

    I change it when I get to about 25% on the indicator . I have the dealer use the full synthetic costs about 60 bucks could barely do it myself for that much . The way I see as long as I follow the maintenance schedule let them worry about if it goes boom .
