New radio was installed yesterday, no issues, service department and Uconnect were terrific throughout the entire process. -

Posted in a similar thread, wanted to update here as well. I was notified today by Uconnect that the radio and labor will be covered. Now just waiting on dealer ordering part and availability. -

2018 ram 1500 with 8.4 uconnect delamination
I contacted Uconnect per FCA and dealership suggestion, now they and the dealership are in direct communication to address the problem. My truck is just out of warranty by a couple of months, but I have stupid-low mileage so I may get this covered.- Wetworks

Ram Cares shot me down and referred me to my dealer. They subsequently had me contact FCA and get a case number. I am going back to the dealer next week, they are going to pull the radio to order a replacement and go from there. Fingers crossed... -
