Play in front axle input pinion.
is there supposed to be any play (left/right, up/down) in the front axle input pinion? Maybe a bad bearing or it’s just loose. If it’s loose and I go to tighten it will it throw it out of spec?- Whiteloweredhemi

Okay I’ll take a look at that. Anything will help. I’m leaning more on some kind of electrical issue. Bad wire or ground, loose wire somewhere, low ohms.- Whiteloweredhemi

I had a torque converter installed early spring March of this year. Ran great till about a month ago. Issue I was having was at any speed 60+ my rpms would be at 2500+ if I gave it a little gas they would jump instantly to 3000+. CEL came on and threw the code po740 (tcc solenoid) I went ahead...- Whiteloweredhemi

TCC solenoid
I don’t remember the code. I had installed since the beginning of spring. The light just came on a few days ago. At highway speeds the tac goes up to nearly 3 grand. In the city it’s fine. So you suggest I have it tuned? Idk what to do at this point. It could be all sorts of things at this point.- Whiteloweredhemi

New to the page. Has anyone had problems with their torque converter clutch solenoid? I have a 2011 ram, had a 3000 stall put in early spring.
