I bought a 2012 1500 that had been lifted by rocky ridge trucks before I bought it. I had to do some front end work on the truck a few months ago and my shop had the darndest time getting a proper alignment done. So we contacted rocky ridge and they stated that during the install they trimmed...
I changed my interior over recently but there's no way to get the headliner out without removing the windshield. I thought about painting the top also but haven't gotten to it yet.
Because my seats aren't completely black it's not as bad.
Fabrics paint is my next option.
Soooooo having not done my proper research I picked up this barely used hellwig 7708 from 'move over' (https://www.ramforum.com/threads/hellwig-7708-and-7709-sway-bars.127737/) on the forum about a week ago.
I got under the truck, replaced my rear no probably... got to the front...oh wait this...
I dipped mine. 5 coats on each. No gloss. Ppl think it's paint. No issues with washing the truck or anything.
Plus it saves having to pull badges, paint them and try to realign them again to original location.

I'm the guy who takes up two spots, parks on the corner where the tree pits are so my wheels are up on the curb.
Also, I bought the black rubber auto zone edging that goes on my doors. Prevents edge rust and if I accidently bump something I don't chip mine or theirs..
