infotainment has a thing that plugs into the radio harness that forces the commands to be sent to the seats and radio.

the other, possibly better solution is the "Jailbreak Enzo from Customtronix". i read somewhere a few...
if it's the bezel to accommodate the 8.4" radio using the existing hvac controls from a lower trim model, like those equipped with a 5.0" RA2 radio, it should be OK. I think Infotainment sells that particular bezel. also, the 8.4 radio itself does not have a volume control knob. you'd either...
at times it is, but not always. sometimes I have it on silent at work, and take it off after or on weekends, for example. It never mattered before switching to the UAS though.

1. ok, so the heated seats and cooled seats, etc. soft buttons wont show up unless there is a module connected between the radio and the bcm that forces the signal to pass through between the radio and the bcm. we have the wrong model year for it to show.
2. that's a first for me. i dont...
might be a vehicle thing where when you updated it, it saw some components/ modules you have and adjusted it's install. the other one maybe thought it was still in a newer model?
