    Synthetic Oil

https://www.dailyfetched.com/germany-to-ban-driving-at-weekends-to-fight-climate-change/ The climate change people are either insane, or it's all a ruse to take total control of the population, and the leaders are still insane.

    Synthetic Oil

Excuse my ignorance...I live on the other coast of the US. Why did California ban MaxLife and other oils? I'm not surprised at anything Cali does, as I used to drive trucks out there.

    Synthetic Oil

One reason I bought the suv is it was nice, reasonably priced, much more comfortable car for her to drive, and us to take on trips, annnnnd, this is my third marriage, and I can't take breaking down another woman. I mean breaking in........

    Synthetic Oil

Fought that fight for over two years. Ended up with a new to us mid size SUV with very low miles. Sold the car to a woman a few miles from us. Saw that car on the road for years after. She said it was the best car she ever had. Perfectly good, nice and sound, doesn't mean much when a person...

    Blackstone - used oil analysis

Thanks. This 6000 mile change is pushing it for me. lol I would consider 7 to 8k if everything looks good. I don't expect to put over 4 to 5k a year on the truck from here on out. Maybe not that much. This 6k was 11 months. Heck, I'll get the TBN just because.

    Blackstone - used oil analysis

I'm sending in my first oil analysis on this truck to Blackstone. Is the TBN useful and necessary with today's oil? I've heard different opinions and don't mind the extra $10.00 if it's useful. This oil sample on the Pentastar is 5986 miles on 5.75 quarts of PUP 5/30, and 15oz Lubegard...

Where Does This Vacuum Line Go?

Thanks a lot guys. There is no vacuum on it at idle, so I thought it might be a breather, but I thought it would have some kind of filter on it if it was. Anyway, it's back together and I'm filling out the paperwork to Blackstone for this trucks first oil analysis.

Where Does This Vacuum Line Go?

I changed the oil in the Pentastar today, and found this hose above the oil filter cap. The elbow was pointing to the rear instead of up. I never noticed it last change. Is this supposed to be hooked to something, or is it just a vent hose?

    fog light bulbs?

I have LEDs in mine. They throw the same pattern as the originals, but brighter. I did go with yellow, which to me, makes the things on the side of the road stand out better. I go through a dip below my house where all kinds of critters are, especially deer and the like. The below pictures...

    Oil Filter Thread

If microglass is on the way out, it's probably because of the EPA because the microglass won't breakdown. Everything that's good and last seems to be under siege anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if all filters went to cartridge because of the metal casings.

    Oil Filter Thread

They are calling it "Synthetic Microglass Media". That very well could be a fancy word for fiberglass. If that's the case, I have a roll of fiberglass house insulation. I could rip off a hunk and stuff it in the filter housing...lol

    Synthetic Oil

They claim it's the lubrication system of the future. I certainly hope it's also the lubrication system of the present since I use it.
