I have owned my 2019 Laramie 4x4 1500 for a little over 1 year now - the original owner ordered it with 22" wheels - that would not have been my choice but it rides just fine and also does well in the woods. It hauls a box full of very heavy firewood no problem also.

Be wary of the air ride suspension - do some reading if you are considering air ride. It can result in some rather expensive repair bills (sometimes).

I ran Avalance Extreme snow tires for several winters, they did very well with our 200 inches + of snow and ice covered roads.
Then I bought Cooper Discoverer STT and ran them all year, they did very well until worn down far enough I got sick...
My 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 has Mopar drop in bed liner; no issues that I know of and I have owned the truck since 2006.
I have a pretty good topper on so that probably helps but like others said don't worry about rusting.
Nice 6-door Power Wagon - that could come in handy for construction and/or logging crews.
