Service Transmission reminder on dash. 2014 1500 with 8 speed trans.
There was a CEL light on but it was for a minor evap leak. Bad o-ring on gas cap. The message said Service Transmission soon and do not shift gears while driving. Weird. Just went out and checked again. Drove around block and message did not come back. I guess I'm not going to worry about it...- youmie440

This is a 2014 Ram with 162000 miles. My transmission service reminder came on the dash. Question being will the reminder go off after I change the fluid and filter? It still seems to shift fine. It is an 8HP70 Hope this isn't a dealer reset issue. Wondering if its a pressure switch that turns...- youmie440

I would check your passenger side CV shaft and see if it wobbles on the intermediate axle. I just went through the same **** with my truck. I would start shaking around highway speeds and it felt like it was coming from the ass end of the vehicle. 2014 1500. I found the problem when I was doing... -

I got the passenger side diff intermediate axle housing removed. Disassembly was a breeze. Intermediate axle was almost round on the end. C-clip was non existent. Lots of wobble on the CV shaft. Should have my parts from rickroodtransmissions tomorrow and the reassembly will begin. I wonder how...- youmie440
