I want to mount my amp on the rear wall panel so it's not touching the floor just in case I leave my windows down when then it rains, someone stepping on anything and I like to put things behind there. Initially, I had it laying behind the passenger seat because it's too long to be under the seat anyway.
I want it to look like a picture screwed into the wall. I'll reroute the wires behind the wall then I'll make a small cut so the ends can come out to be hooked into the amp.
How do I remove it? I just got one side to sort of move out a few inches but it's stuck on something. All trays are off as well as the rear side panels/sails.
Plus, I'm really leaning toward changing the interior to black.

I had mine under my driver seat in my single cab, no clue how to take that panel off,

when my buddy bought his honda we heard something rattling for some time and after going fishing one day, we took off the backseat driverside panel, low and behold an1100w amp!

Did you ever figure it out? and if so can you post pics of the setup?

Wow, lucky!
I went to the jy Saturday and removed a panel from a ram I've found.
Removal:
Remove the floor tray screws and all trays.
Remove pillars/ panels. They pop out. There's screws that need to be removed which hold the panel in place. You can remove the speakers for easy panel removal. Watch for the seat belt bracket tab that sticks out. It can be in the way but shouldn't be a problem.
Pull back the carpet. There's screws that hold the panel to the floor.
Then nudge, pull, lift, whatever you need to do to remove the panel.
It'll take you 15-30 minutes. If it takes you more than that, something is wrong with you. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver.

I'm still trying to find a way to cut a small square through the panel. Just parallel to the connections right under the amp. But the panel isn't wood, it's some type of fiberglass or hard plastic. Plus I don't have the tools to cut. Any suggestions?

depending on how much time you want to invest, it can be done very cleanly with a razor blade, but will take time, if impatient perhaps a dremel or why not just use a big drill bit?

thanks for explaining how to remove it.
that honda just sold the other day, maybe thats why I thought of it.

I just want a clean look. I don't want huge holes showing where my wires will be coming out from. I'll think about the drill since I can just make it fit the width/ girth of the wires. But behind the panel, I want the wires to be secure and not dangling or swaying side to side. I'm thinking using a staple gun. Or heck, tape would do good.
