newer model emblems?

Has anyone tried to put on a newer model dodge ram emblem from the tailgate to our gen models??? I've always thought about doing it since it's not actually screwed on.
If it's done, any pictures?

I think beauduke has the rear emblem from a newer durango on his sport grill.
they do look pretty clean. if its not him someone else on the forum has done it.

Here's mine, got from ebay, cut the **** off, applied 3m 2 sided molding tape & done.
