Pennzoil Used Oil Analysis Program!

Thanks SYN for making this post I signed up on BobsTheOilGuy.com and messaged the lady! She got back to me and is sending me a kit. But needed an oil change right away and she said shipping was 2-3 weeks so I decided to dump mobil one early and try Penzoil Platinum.

yea same with me... but mine didn't take long at all it arrived in about 1 week or week in a half at the most

if I'm understanding this program right...
they sent me 8 quarts of pennzoil ultra platinum and oil test kit and pre postmarked package....

the oil sample kit is meant to test the oil already in my truck right? then i put the new oil from them in and when i need a oil change i contact them and they will send more oil and another test to basically compare the two oils...?

Yes, pretty much. The only thing you need to provide is the labor (including tools) and an oil filter.

You're in New York and I am in New Jersey.
It took just over 3 weeks to get mine.
So keep in mind , to order your 2nd patch of oil about a month before you actually need it.

ahhhh, forgot to check back in. It actually showed up the next day after i made that post.

Just curious, how do we go about getting the "second" round of oil from pennzoil? I know that after I put the pennzoil in, I am supposed to send out the mobil1 i have in there now, but when the penzzoil is about ready to be changed, do i just contact the girl from the bobs forum?

Do you take the sample from your oil that was in the truck when you did the change over to ULtra Platinum, or after you run through the first interval with Ultra Platinum.

You take a sample of whats in there now. After that, at your next oil change, you take a sample of the Pennzoil Ultra you used, and send that in too. You get two free oil changes and two free oil analyses.

i was told to contact them via the private message conversation that you are having with them on the bobs forum. They said when you are about a month away from needing an oil change to contact them and they will ship the second amount of oil to you.

Contacted them, was told to send my information and when I did they said they were full and no longer doing this. Disappointing.
