You're lucky 150$ ! , in canada they are asking 169$ + Tx US!!! , in our currency it's about 250 $ That's what I paid for my tomtom 6" screen go 600 with mobile data live traffic and lifetime map update and radar

I'm updating an old thread here but in case this is not well known.
In the iPhone settings make sure the phone is talking to the UConnect option and then with the Maps App, you will have three different volume levels available to choose from and also the radio will mute when the turn by turn directions come in.
Also the great little WadeStar phone holder is highly recommended.

I got the email, encouraging to buy the update for 150.00 or so dollars. But what they DONT tell you is what year the update version is. I mean, they could change 4 things on a map and push it out for sale to make money and it could be basically nothing much changed. . The last version update I bought was several years old when I bought it and it was supposed to be the latest version, sold to me via an email. So without any constructive information as to what the heck Im buying, Im not biting. Dodge Ram or Chrysler or whomever is responsible, TELL US THE VERSION YEAR and also a detailed list of improvements and updates.

The "updated data" that they sell you is usually at least twelve months old. They pay Garmin IIRC for the updates and Garmin will not sell their most current data because that cuts into their sales.

Maxx is right, you need to just get a lockpick air v2, then you can show your smart phone on your screen and use that as your nav. its a one time purchase, then anything on your phone you can put on your screen via mirror cast or mirroring.
1 year behind though isn't the end of the world on updates....hence why the atlas and maps at the grocery store come out annually. Expecting more from software is silly. Just like reviving this 4 year old thread lol.
