The early 4th gen 4wd had full off for sure, not sure about 2wd. Vehicle has to be in 4hi & hold the ESC button til it chimes. Above 40 mph if in full off, the system will go into partial and re enter full off once below 35 (IIRC). And I believe it automatically goes full off in 4lo. Haven't checked yet on the 13+ trucks. 2wd trucks are very rare up here, so I can't speak on those.

4x4

for the 4 wheel drive guys.......engage your 4X4 hi and then press and hold the traction control button for I believe 5 seconds, you will hear a chime and the traction control will turn off.....just as is does in 4Lo

I have a 2013 and found the button just the other day
Then I looked on my 2002 2500 5.9 which I have been driving for 10 years and just found that it had it too
really ten freekin years and I just find it now

Not sure if this has already been mentioned already. I put my turn signal on and it didn't automatically kick off. Windows were down and music on so I didnt hear it clicking. 3 mins later there was a ding and a message popped up on the evic. It said "Turn Signal On" with a pic of the truck. Didn't get a pic in time, but I thought that was pretty awesome!

Never could notice it until I installed HIDs due to the brightness of those suckers but my windshield is definitely tinted from the factory :driver:

This one happened to me twice.
I thought an engine error alert but no CEL.
When I get home, grab the OBD II and check but no error.
I just figure it out in 3rd time... :roflsquared:

they need to put that on crown vics. it would save grandma hours of embarrassment.

I wounder if it is just a type of polarization and not actually a tint?

My guess is the top part of the windshield that is that black stuff painted on.

Glass itself isn't 100% clear then you take the windshield which is laminated now you have two pieces of glass and a thin layer of vinyl sandwich between. This will automatically take the transparency down.

Most of the windshield will still be clear. Most states forbid windshield tinting except for the top part above the AS1

MDS is defiantly 100% related to the ECO light on the 2016 6.4 trucks. no doubt. may mean other things too but MDS instantly comes on with it every time.

It actually would make sense if that was the way it worked on all the trucks. Why it doesn't, I have no clue.

You can bring it up when going faster, it just shuts off after a few seconds. It's handy for checking the trailer hookup. I placed the rear camera shortcut on the bottom bar to make it easy to get to.

Noticed one day while sitting in construction that I could change my 8.4 screen background. It was under background themes. Now I have it on the brown Longhorn symbol. Matches my Brown Pearl truck! A lot better than the stock black background.

I was looking for this on my '13 yesterday. Don't think I have that option. :-(
