Nice job on both vehicles! You certainly put in a good bit of work into the Ram! :waytogo:

Hey man you have the 4.7 right? How are you running the trinity hemi fever tune without the hemi? Also, how are you getting away with no cats? I hollowed mine out and my truck hated it.

Yep. The hemifever tune is basically a more advanced tune than the normal canned tune. Sean, aka hemifever, took the 4.7L Diablo sport tune and tailored it more to what mods I had, after viewing a engine log I sent him. He also deleted the rear sensor codes so the PCM still thinks the cats are working normally.

I, along with many others, lost transmission tuning with Diablo so I no longer run it (trinity)in my ram. Honestly the transmission tune I had was what made the truck fun to drive. Now without it its just a dog **** lol. I'm currently looking into getting an HP tune as they are able to tune both engine and trans.

Oh okay. That makes sense. I have a superchips cortex with just the 87 octane tune. It's fun I guess but the truck isn't a hot rod by any means. Even with the 91 tune there isn't any chance of me roasting the 35" tires I have on the truck. Lol

Yeah 35's would definitely take some power to turn over. Gears will help.

I have the 3.92 gears and even with stock tires it didn't want to spin them. Give me some wet pavement though and I'll give you some nasty loss of traction. Lol

Oh yeah same here. I actually think it has something to do with the torque management but I could be wrong. I know on GM vehicles it will kill some take off power to help save the transmission.

Probably, cause once I break them loose the motor will scream. I should play with the torque management options on my superchips. Maybe I'll find the right combo. Lol
