In need of new tires, what tires are you running?

What's a good allseason tire for our Rams?

I currently running the stock goodyear wrangler sr-a's, on my '14 express with the 20" wheels. Been reading they are a decent tire in the snow and from experience they sure do suck on wet roads.

What is a good upgrade? I don't off road, so I am not in need of any knobbies(spl).

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Toyo AT's. Great tire for the highway with decent traction and they wear well.

I can also recommend the Toyo AT IIs. I have been running them for about 8,000 miles. They are wearing well and evenly, fairly aggressive look for an all terrain but no huge lugs like a mud tire which means no excessive noise, good traction in snow, wet traction has increased now that the tires have a little wear.

a tire shop by me was having a buy 3 get one free deal. I got BF KO2 for 308 a tire, 1000 total M&B. if i didn't get that deal, i would have went with toyo at2 again. Great tires.

Tires are like asking what oil is best. You're going to get a ton of different answers, and none are really wrong.

I'm always the odd man out here, throwing around the Korean tires.

Hankook Dynapro ATm. A tid bit more aggressive than Cooper AT3s, but not as aggressive as the Goodyear Duratracs. They eat through up to a couple feet of snow here in the midwest almost like it isn't there.

Type in each tire given thus far. See hat the reviews are, both number of reivews and overall grade.

Think you find Michelin LTX M/S is, overall, the best tire.
Narrow it down to 2-3 tires then go to tire shop you trust ,t hat carries each of the 20-3 tires and see what they say.BTW, for the last 15 yrs or so, michelin lTX M/S were on my old 1999 2500 dodge,

Michelin Defender on my wifes grand caravan for last 7 yrs or so,
and now Defender LTX M/S on my 2014 Ram. Could not be happier with them

just picked up a set for the kids 2002 buick LeSabre.
Tires will probably outlast the car but I know one thing, I do not have to worry about tires on my only sons car.

If you're looking for an all season, can't go wrong with the Michelin Defender LTX. I keep eyeing these for my lifted truck.

I ready alot of tire rack.com reviews and came to the conclusion that the Yokohama Geolanders were the ones I needed. I have about 8,000 miles on them and so far they are fantastic. However, it has not rained here in 30 days ... :flipthebird:

Whats nice is, Tire Rack is only 15 mins from my house. I can go in and talk to them and see what they suggest for my driving style and weather here in northern IN.

It's the 275-65-20....slightly taller than stock. They'll fit on a stock Ram 1500 with no lift/level & no rubbing. You could probably even go to a 285-65-20 on stock setup.

I've got a 4" Superlift with 1.5" Bora spacers to push them out a bit so they don't get lost inside the pocket flares.
