Whats nice is, Tire Rack is only 15 mins from my house. I can go in and talk to them and see what they suggest for my driving style and weather here in northern IN.

I would love to have a Tirerack location that close to me.....

I need tires really soon and the 3 I've narrowed it down to are:

1. Cooper Discoverer AT3
2. Goodyear Duratrac
3. BF Goodrich KO2

I've (sadly) been following tires reviews and recommendations for a couple yrs now in preparation for when I needed new tires. My brother has the Duratracs on his 2013 RAM and they look good. He really likes them. I saw the KO2s on a truck the other week and they look really good. It's basically going to come down to which one I like at that moment is what I'll end up with. All 3 are really good tires for our trucks.

Yeah it's pretty cool. During the warmer months, every weekend there's some car club there beating the hell outt their cars on Tire Rack's course. From a Ford Fiesta to high end Vettes, vipers, Porshes, Ferraris, etc. It's free for the public.

Just installed Nitto Terra Grappler G2 P275/60R20 (my stock size). So far so good. Rides comfortable and pretty quiet.

Why not the Michelin or Toyo?

Toyo used to be on my list. I've been narrowing down my list for a while. I wanted a tire a little bit more aggressive. The only reason the Coopers are still on the list is because I've always really liked Cooper tires....they've always been really good to me.

Same short list as mine, I ended up with the goodyears. And they are awesome. Mileage dropped a bit and you can hear a slight hum on the hwy over 70mph. The grip is excellent.

Just curious, how much mpg did you lose? Though it's not a deal breaker, it matters with my daily commute.

I lost at least 1.5 mpg. Although I went from a plain street tire to a very aggressive truck tire.

I think it should can be said going to a taller or wider tire = more weight vs your stock tire. Lt vs P(stock) can also sacrifice ride quality with the Lt tire being heavier and thicker side walls. Robs a little power turning them. Just some things to think about while deciding. Jus my 2cents

I had 2 sets of the duratrac on 2 different of my trucks and loved them. Very quiet and very good traction both on and off the road. I decided to go even more aggressive than that and went with the good year wrangler MT's. Hope I can find the time to put them on this week sometime. Love the look but and afraid of the noise and rough ride. Oh well I guess it's part of it.

I see that no one has mentioned Firestone. With that being said I have a set of the Destination M/T and I absolutely love them. They do have the slight M/T noise but they are a smooth riding tire. They were having a sale on them so not a bad price for 35s. I do believe the A/Ts are very good as well. Not very aggressive though.

I have the Duratracs, they look amazing but are not as good in the snow as I hoped.
I put 300lbs of weight over the rear wheels and it helps but they still fight for traction in the deep stuff even with 4x4 on.

I am running stock 20" size with stock rims.
I would hate to go wider if you plan on using them in the north and get a lot of deep snow.

My wife's 16' Tucson turbo with AWD and snow tires owns the road in deep snow. Very impressed with it.

I should have bought proper snow tires that are narrow for the snow. Wide tires tend to ride up on the snow rather then cut through it.
I live in the back country up in Canada so not a normal comparison.
Just my two cents.

If you don't need a MT tire and can live with an AT tire, look into the Continental TerrainContact A/T. They just came out a few months ago. I have been reading up on them online and they look good. Development was 3 years, 1500 tire sets, and 2 million miles. Everybody and their brother has the Toyos where I live, so I want something different and will probably get the Contis.

How's the tread depth on the stock size? I have been battling going one size bigger to an LT with these tires because the listed tread depth is so much deeper, but they're 66 lbs each tire when you go to that size haha.

I haven't measured them but they seem a bit deep, I like that. They look and ride great. They have been good in the snow but I can only compare to stock goodyears.
