Does it really need to be fixed?

See they're not shooting straight into the pan, they are a little lower then it, so should I really chop off the pipe or just leave it?

It's still going to go right at the roll pan.

Why not go to the parts store and get 2 turndowns and clamp them on there?

I don't know how well PD holds up to heat before it starts to melt so I would keep that in mind as well.

Tried that and it looked stupid, I'm just gonna cut the exhaust back shorter then put the turndowns on it

I think that's probably what he meant. You can cut the exhaust all the way back to right after the muffler, but I'd make sure it at least comes past the back of the cab to reduce exhaust fumes from seeping in.

Mine is cutoff just past the cab, no turndown or nothing. Need to finish taking it out the side. But its loud, I also do not have a muffler just a cat

Also plasti dip is holding up on my car hood just fine been on there for awhile.

The turndown will just give it more of a rumble. But it will also direct the heat down instead of away from anything it shouldn't be hitting.

And good to know plasti-dip can take some heat. I wouldn't trust it around exhaust though.

Yeah, I say you chop it before the axle and put a turndown, that's what I got and it'll sound good. Or you can put a tip, but they are more $$

I drove to Walmart and it didn't really get that hot, but I'm still gonna cut it back cause it'll sound good and be even louder :D

I'm not sure what the law is there, but here it has to be at least 6" after the cab. You can go like 8" or 10" after the cab and it'll be good. You don't want it like RIGHT at the axle ya know?

This is what I plan on doing with mine, but with one tip.

If you have a single you could do this too, it's right after the axle
