Alot of us use a blanket on the seat to keep the dog hair and mess down . BUT the dogs do get wet :O and if you buy a plastic cover for the seat made for dogs you pay 10/15$ + for a cheesy cover,, Being a tight *** that i am I picked up a mattress protector for 4$ at Wal Mart , cover very good and I will cut slits where the head rest are so I can slip it over to hang it to the seat> I will duct tape the cuts to keep the cuts from spreading, Should work ok ,if not I am out 4$ lol

My pup is always with me. ( well one of the 3 pups we have are anyway ) I bought a seat cover made by krugo ( spelling may be wrong ) the company does a lot of dog accessories. The cover is great although pricey at 70 bucks. But I figured that's cheaper than ruining the seats in a brand new truck.

The cover is a hammock style which can be zipped in half so a dog and a person can sit beside each other. It's water proof and machine washable and has kept my back seat spotless. I don't use it in hammock mode though. I fold the extra material that goes past the seat bottom under itself so I still can flip my seats and see the led lights under there.

I use the hammock style as well. It secures around the head tests and keeps the seat and carpeting pretty clean.

I use two hammock styles for extra coverage. I end up getting a new one somehow for Christmas every year, so they keep piling up lol.

I flip the seats up, put down the folding flat floor thing, and put a towel over the whole the floor. He loves it back there and no scratches on my seats!

I too use the fold flat floor with the back seat flipped up. My doberman rides back there and he's abnormally tall for a dobie, so it works well for him. The min pin rides up front.

Dog comes with me sometimes, I too fold up the seats and put down the folding floor. Then I put a blanket down (actually an old twin comforter) and put a towel over the center console because she likes to climb on it. I have a chocolate lab, lots of dog hair everywhere. That is the worst part, it's in the air so it gets everywhere. Also she is getting older, and I have to help her into the truck now. So she doesn't come with me as much, probably a couple of days a week.
