Hi. I am new to this forum and i have what might be a stupid question. I have had the factory remote start installed by the dealer and I am having one issue. When I turn on my truck with the remote start both my side mirror and front windshield defogger turn on. doesn't matter what previous setting i had on before turning it off. I was curious is there a way to change this or does everyone with the oem remote start have the same thing. Thank you for all your time and help.

I'm not sure, but I do know that I love that my mirror and windshield defroster turn on my I use the remote start especially when it's 15* outside.

What electronics set up do you have? On my 8.4 all those things are in the settings. You can set to have the seat and steering wheel heaters turn on, rain sensing wipers, auto high beams etc. Look in your manual to see how to adjust those remote start settings. Good luck. Report back so others know how to fix the same problems.

There's a setting that will turn on driver comfort automatically on remote start. This means heated seats, heated steering wheel, and heated mirrors when it's less than 40° outside.

You can turn it off if you want
