Has anyone tinted theirs ( roll-on bedliners)? My drop-in bedliner is destroyed. Thinking about a roll-on solution.

Herc will scratch away, I promise, i used it to line a van and prepped well but didn't last. Mosta liner, a little better. But, Linex is the best thing you can do for your truck, just bite the bullet.

Thanks Guys! I really do want to go cheap (roll-on type) as this is really just an old work truck, but the SEM Rock-it liner comes with a free gun so maybe that's an option. I won't be doing this until the spring, so I'll look around a bit more. Monsta, Al's .... so many choices.

every truck ive seen that had herculiner done ends up looking like **** in short time.

as far as a DIY liner goes, id probably go with monstaliner, raptor or SEM. i actually bought the monstaliner to roll on my atv trailer but havent had a chance to do it yet.

My buddy used raptor liner on his tundra with good results. I have rhino liner on mine.

Check out my thread.

If you do go the diy route just make sure you don't miss any spots. Luckily, if you do see some spots you skipped over you can always add more.

I've seen very few good long term reviews on Hercu liner. And the few positive reviews I've read showed pics that just didn't look good. I think there are much better DYI choices.

Herculiner is garbage. If professional go with LineX, if DIY Monstaliner or Raptorliner are the only way to go.

See if someone will cut you a deal on a spray in, couldn't hurt to ask.

I used monstaliner in my Jeep and loved it. Very durable and extremely easy. That said, Ill be getting Line-X on my truck, becomes a point where cost vs time and effort is outweighed.

Yeah, I watched some videos. The prep looks extensive, and you can't skimp on that part. A new $180 drop-in liner is looking mighty good at this point :)

To do it right, it was quite a bit. Especially on the pure size of the bed. I have a drop in liner now but spray is the way to go.

Nothing about linex or rhino liner is bad except the price. Line x for my truck bed. I called to get the price of lineXing my step rails and they wanted $150 each lol. That's insane. If I wanted to do a fresh pair that wasn't already powdercoated it would be $300 each to prep and prime and then $150 a pop each. That **** is just ridiculous. DIY here i come!

Yes, and being a long bed ... it's a looong prep. I'll def. buy the drill attachment to rough it up if I go that route.

Don't do the herc. Doesn't hold up. Had raptor in my old jeep. It looked good and is tint able. Held up well on the floor of the jeep, I don't have any feedback on a truck bed.

I have raptor in mine. Holding up great so far. Been about 8 months. You just have to make sure you do a good job on the prep work
