Hey all I have a 13 ram 1500 I just got new tires 275/60/20 toyo open country at2s. I put on a 2.5" leveling kit on today and I took it off the jack stands and I have about 1" of lift too much in the front. The front now sits 1" higher than the rear. I called rough country and they are stumped. Any ideas? Everything is sinched down torqued down and put in correctly to the best of my knowledge. Thanks in advance!

I know that some trucks have a different rake from the factory, but to be an inch higher with only a 2.5" kit seems weird. I have my Bils at 2.1 and was close to level.
You could always add a rear spacer to level it back out and not worry about the front!

I was thinking that but just seems weird that it's higher than it should be

All the components were a spacer ~1.5" and a plate for the top of the strut ( and stickers of course!). My measurement on the front was 36 1/2 before and 40-40 1/8" after. That's from the ground I didn't know I should have measured from the middle of the wheel. The rear is 39". The current measurement is 24" from the center of the wheel to the btm of the fender. I called a buddy that has a 17' and his is stock and his measurements are 21 fm the center and 36 from the ground.

Whoa, you gained over 3.5"? Odd... Did you put new shocks on as well? Did you do your own install? As stated above, drive around a bit and let the components settle.

Not a outdoorsman just a big horn. Factory shocks never been replaced. I'll try giving it a drive and see if she settles.

The only thing I can think of that would have caused a issue is that I had a had time getting the top nut off of the strut. I spun it a few times around. But that shouldn't make a difference because it's not threaded into the bottom of the shock. Also I'm 99% sure I have the lower shock mounts in the right way.
