I was pretty impressed too. Hopefully it is reality not just smoke. The customer rep got back to me about the DRL question I had too. That one is going to take the engineers a little time. She told me the update should show up in the update section of the unit.

I am still waiting for the update to the Autel. First it was their server was down, then I had to clear the data from the program and look for the update...still can't find it. Supposed to be Beta 7.54.80. Who knows...

UPDATE: I received the update beta 7.54.08 and it now has the working function back into the tire pressure threshold update section....I am not sure how long from beta to formal release...

According to tech support, the formal release for anyone stuck in the 7.54 issue will be mid December.

IF you ever think you might want to do this, GO GET YOUR PIN CODES NOW!!! More and more guys are being refused 1 or both PIN's by dealers. Until recently, no one local to me has been refused but that just changed. I've had several others that have told me that they've been refused too so it seems like they're cracking down.

I rented 4x4x4's Autel a few weeks ago, and I still experience a bit of joy every time that stupid light doesn't show up. It took me 2 solid weeks to break the habit of cycling through the "Service TPMS" screen. I'm very appreciative this service is available.

I haven't gone through every page of this but, I have a question. The original Post reads like the dealer can do it all. Then the first question (shown below) on the original post says that they cannot change the psi thresholds? So, can the dealer do the entire process or do they do apportion and I have to buy one of the tools to complete the process?

Common questions:
Q: Can the dealer do this?
A: They cannot change the psi thresholds but they have the ability to update the RFH. Whether they or not is questionable.

Most likely the dealer will not perform this any more. Most have updated their tools and no longer do this. Do a little reading in this thread and there is a person that will provide what you're looking to do. 4x4x4door above.

The first part of the thread is the old info. Everything past the More Information on HD TPMS Reset Options is the new info. IMO, very few, if any, dealers are going to make the adjustment unless they have an Autel device.

So can this be done on 2017s? The drastic drop in temp overnight here in VA are setting mine off.

Absolutely. Send me a PM for details. I've helped adjust every year between 2010-2017. The 2018 have a locked ECU so they're SOL until further notice.

For whatever it's worth.....Autel's version 7.55 for Chrysler/RAM has the tire threshold function working properly again.

Correct! I should have posted that. Been using it for a couple weeks now. Glad they got it fixed right before my year of updates expired.
