Whatever, think I’ll never get it. I know you boys love your 2nd amandement and playing around with guns, rifles and all that stuff, but c’mon, it’s the 21st century, not the Wild West anymore. lol
Fair enough...To each their own.

Many concealed carry holders like to take their firearms off their person for comfort while driving and/or ease of access when seated if needed...

Could not have said it better.

Is that just screwed directly into the dash? I had one like that in the last truck but I don’t know if I’m ready to permanently scar the ram lol.

Directly screwed in but that piece is inexpensive (having broken one already!)

Im in Canada and our laws are very strict with firearms and especially handguns (restricted). Our gun laws seem to work in Canada and from what I’ve heard we have one of the highest firearm ownership per capita than anywhere else. With that said I wish we could have more leniency when it comes to carry conceal especially for our boys in blue! While off duty our police/corrections officers are subject to violence and being recognized and unable to defend themselves on the same playing field as the criminals.

I am not saying everyone should be strapped but there is a time and place for this sort of security measure. It’s like having a defibrillator or first aid kit around.... you hope you never use it but if you have to you’ll be glad you had it

Just my two cents. By the way that’s a sweet little mod [emoji106]

You may want to read the news bud. Not the Wild West but full of drug using wild criminals that would do unspeakable things to you, your wife, and kids.

Enough with Politics!

My favorite cheap mod so far is the cigarette lighter splitter, in thr little drawer under the stereo...no center console, jumpseat.

I plasti dipped my badges instead of buying the black ones. Dipped my wheels as well. Turned out great and holds up well. I also just put my G21 in the removable door cup holder in my drivers side door. Sits perfectly and doesn't move around. Plus I'm left handed so its convenient and doesn't move around.

Do you have any idea how to take the drawer out?

I wanted to remove it so I could feed the Pedal Commander wire back there, then see if I can just leave the PC in the drawer so its hidden while driving but somewhat temporary enough to remove easily.

If I remember right you'll need to remove the AC/radio bezel and drill a hole into the top of that drawer. It's "sealed off" so stuff doesn't fly up and behind the dash when closed. If your truck has the jumpseat and no rear air vents there will also be a nice sized cavity to hide away things just below the drawer. The trim there pops straight off toward the rear of the truck.

I'm a southpaw shooter too. Got any pics of this? It's relevant to my interests!

Thanks!

Removal of the drawer sounds like a PITA, but I do have the jumpseat and no rear ducting, so I bet I could just stash it there (and it should make a great place for the future Kicker KEY amp ;) )

It’s considered concealed in LE eyes. My tried and true personal duty weapon. Where it’s at your trigger isn’t compromised and wont be moving or rattling. The only time it’s going to come out is if i use it or if I wreck (necessary risk).

Nice, thanks! The NRA website store has a type of "holster" that is designed to fit into a console cup holder. I literally just saw it a couple of minutes ago!

Just added these (got 4) a few days ago flush mount stainless bull ring anchors: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PGH959E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They look great and at only $15/ea I don't see why every RAM owner wouldn't have them unless you have a camper shell or rack blocking your stake pockets. I used a box cutter to cut out the scribed areas of the bed rail which worked fine don't need to use a router like they suggest.
