Does anyone know if there is a way to change the positioning of the bulb while it’s seated in the housing? I tried a new bulb but they’re all oriented the same. The wire on the bulb on my driver side obstructs my beam. Passenger side is off to the right and not visible on the road.

There are adjustable screws on the back of the headlamp assembly. There should be three screws for left, right, and one for up and down.

Won’t that just aim the beam? The beam is even and at the right height. I just need the bulb to be twisted in the projector to get that wire out of the beam.

It only fits on one way.

Did you get better light output after rotating them?

I can’t really tell. I feel like it’s better. Definitely much more crisp and clear no more dead spot. As far as better output I want to say yes but it could just be in my head too.

It’s definitely better than this! I don’t have any pictures of after I rotated it, but I did test it out last night and I was very pleased.

I took my headlight apart tonight and couldnt figure how to perform this fix. I saw the bulb mount on the assembly with 3 screws but when I unscrewed it, they are not equally spaced so I couldn’t rotate it. What did you do to fix yours? Also the bulb has no way to rotate the bar...

Do not take the 3 screws out. Just loosen them enough that you can freely spin the bulb. Put the wire at 6 o’clock and then tighten the 3 screws back up. The bulb will not be in it’s normal locking position, but it still will not move.

Great info! I trimmed a tab on one of my bulbs and the other isn’t completely seated to keep the wire just above the shroud. I just ordered LED high beams tonight so when I install them I’ll make sure to make these adjustments as well.

What bulbs did you order for your high beams. I want led highs too but idk which ones will fit in the projector housings and allow the dust shield to go back on.

I got the 50W saber LEDs from DDM tuning. Their 55W HIDs did me right so I figured I’d stick with them for now. The pictures don’t show a grommet like the HIDs do, so I hope that either A) all that crap fits in the housing or B) it actually does come with a grommet and it’s just not shown in the photos. I’ll keep you posted.
